Are you interested in competing in a Washington DC pageant? If so, there are certain rules and regulations you must adhere to in order to be eligible. To enter the Miss DC competition, the contestant must be between 18 and 28 years old. Additionally, they must be at least 18 years old on the first day of participation. Every year, a DC senior competition is held to select the District's woman aged 60 or older who will represent the District of Columbia as Mrs.
The contestants compete for the title in four categories and are judged on their elegance, poise and style during their interview, their philosophy of life and their evening wear presentations. The winner will serve as Mrs. Senior DC throughout the year and will represent the District in Ms. The organizers of each contest can determine the rules of the competition, including the age range of the contestants.
The rules may also require that contestants be unmarried, virtuous, amateur and available for promotion, in addition to other criteria. Furthermore, they can set the dress standards by which contestants will be judged, including the type of swimsuit.
